First, happy holidays/christmas/new year to everybody.
My recent order (december, batch 0046), jakes are very granular and don't mix well. And those granules have a not so pleasant taste.
Previous orders mixed smoothly within water but not this one.
Did anybody notice that?

Have you tried emailing them? What did they say?
I will run out of Jake soon, but am hesitant to order
I haven't emailed then yet.
Other thing I've just noticed, the red dots (previously mentioned by other customers) are gone.
Should I remember correctly, Frank said they are antioxidant so not sure if this is a good thing either.
Granules fall down to the bottom of the shake, and I have to leave about 5/6oz because of the bad taste.

Hi Antoine, happy new year to you too! Excuse me for my late reply. Did you notice the granular texture in multiple pouches? And do the granules look like ground oats or oat husks?
I've noticed the granular texture on all the pouches that I have opened so far (around 8 to 10).
I'm traveling and took them with me while abroad (thus I cannot check if my order contains other batches then 46 before Sunday).
Granules are too small to answer your question. Almost as small as sand, and can't really be chew, but can be seen with bare eyes and definitely felt in the mouth.
Hi Antoine, we have examined batch O046 and have indeed found less finely ground oats to be the culprit. Although not harmful, it's definitely not our intention to provide you with subpar sandy shakes, so we're happy to replace them.
In this regard, could you please get in contact with our customer support (info@jakefood.com) to arrange where the replacement order can be sent to and how to return the leftover pouches so we can examine the product.
It should be no problem to send the shakes to your travelling destination. My apologies for the inconvenience, good travels!
yeah, noticed this too on the recent lots. it's not too bad but it does affect the overall taste. Happy to hear this isn't intentional (or harmful). I'm comfortable to consume them but dont want to see this in future deliveries.
