Received a spring with my order. What do I do with it?

Hi everyone!

I just received my first order of Jake, all went well, the box contained all my Jake and the free shaker as advertized... And also a spring. A round, 5cm-tall metal spring. It was in a little plastic bag so I don't think it was an accident, however it doesn't seem to go anywhere. No room for it in the shaker and obviously none in the bags. It's driving me crazy!

To put it simply, WTF is up with this spring?

You put it in the shaker to help mix the powder. Really. Lots of shakers come with these. It has another advantage in that, if you pour the mixture out into a glass, you will receive a fun surprise when the spring falls into the glass, kerplop! It is most amusing. Also when you are washing the shaker afterward, the spring will often "spring" away and hide down the disposal hole, affording yet more fun and exercise. So you see it has many uses.

Ooooooooooh. I did not know that. It's my first shaker. That explains why my first Jake was a bit lumpy...

I meant that there was no spot to attach it, no obvious way to make it work with the shaker. I never thought to just throw it in there to flop around at the bottom. #MyFirstShaker
