PSA: Jake Website Auto-selects Wrong Shipping Address

There's currently a problem with shipping on the Jake website. The site is automatically selecting delivery addresses without customer input.

I live in Denmark and chose my home address at checkout, but my shipment was randomly delivered to a shipping point several kilometers away.

Customer service confirmed that this is a real problem at the moment and they're still trying to fix it.

So, please be aware! Let's wait to hear from the Jake team before placing new orders.

Hi @Meg,

We indeed had a problem with choosing pick-up points for Sweden and Denmark on our website.
But luckily this has been resolved. Now you can directly choose a pick-up point on the website while ordering.

Unfortunately, we have been informed that DPD only delivers to pick-up points at the moment.
We are already busy looking at other options to be able to receive packages at home addresses in these countries.

If you have any advice for a carrier to make this easier in your country in the future, please let us know!

I'm glad you're looking into this.

I'm not sure what you mean about not delivering to home addresses. My Jake starter box was delivered to my home address just fine last month. Are you saying they've stopped doing it now?

Thanks for your message.
It's indeed true that last month we had no problems with shipping to home addresses.
Since last week this is no longer possible with DPD, but with other carriers such as UPS it's still possibble.
For now, you can choose UPS for free. But we are still figuring out how we can set this up in the future.
