Preferred old formula taste

Hi guys, I've been drinking Jake for close to a year now. My second most recent order was for 80 shakes and that kept me going for over 3 months. My most recent order was around a month ago and it seems the product has changed since then.

I'm not enjoying the new formula as much as the old, the first sip is always the least pleasant, but it does improve a lot after that.

I've also noticed its a lot harder to mix, with 400ml water, the contents go right to the top of the shaker and I always end up spilling some of the powder, it wasn't as much of a problem before.

Just minor annoyances really, but I would like to say bring back the old formula if at all possible!

Edit: I should add this is with the original shake. Not tried the others.

It can be so annoying if something you use a lot suddenly just changes. I've experienced that with a curry paste that I loved and one day simply disappeared from the shelves. Just gone. Just like with the flax seeds in Jake I like the new Jake (Light) way better tho.

Regarding spilling powder; I had this problem also the first time I made a jake shake.

Just fill the cup to the 400ml mark. Open the bag, strip it off. Put the bag inside the cup above the water line.

Kick the bag so the power falls and twist. Rotate the bag or the cup. By doing this you spread the powder evenly in the cup. The bag evens the spread of the powder. Slowly pull the bag back.

This way I do it and I have no problems getting all the powder in the cup.

I kind of felt the same after the first shake, but the taste grew on me a lot.

What I do to make the mixing work better with the new powder:
pour 200ml water first, add powder, cover (e.g. with your flat hand) and tap bottom firmly onto a counter/table/whatever to push the powder down to make room, then pour the other 200ml on top. Close up and shake.
I have never had any problems with the mixing or the powder getting stuck anywhere using this method.

I do the same now, but use about 450-500ml of water, it seems to taste better with more water.

Keep the water refrigerated, put half into another glass, add powder, add rest of water on top and mix. No problems with it since trying that.
