Why not have a marking on the pouch for the correct amount of water? i.e. on an Original pouch put a printed "fill to here" line for 400mL water. That way it's super easy to measure, with the added bonus of getting all the powder remains from the bottom of the pouch.

This could be interesting! I wonder what the added cost would be per pouch.. but if we think outside of that, I would like to see their pouches have a screw cap like these for example

And then maybe a seethrough spot beneath the screw cap on the pouch, with text "fill untill you see water here" or something. I'm just gonna make a rough example in windows paint...

then the size of the bag should be way bigger for adding water inside & i think it's
more expensive with this fixture.

and i anyway use 500ml since a while, with 400ml it's too thick for me.

I dont think it would work. The bottom folds, so only if it's perfectly unfolded you'd get an accurate measurement.

What do you mean? it's not like you need to use exactly 400ml you can use 5L if you would want to.. but I would absolutely not recommend drinking that much in a short time period.. So if you have a see through plastic thing where it would genereally be 400-500ml it's okey.

I personally just see one issue, the cost per pouch would probably be alot more, I am totally fine with how it is atm, but it's an interesting thought.

It needn't cost any more. Even a little black line printed on outside as a guide would do. I fill my pouch back up with water and pour in the shaker over the powder!

A small black line would be great, but why not on the inside where you can se the water level in relation to the line, if it is feasable in terms of price!?

Well, if it's folded flat you get 0ml, if it completely unfolds it might be 750ml (I didn't measure it), so a line would really not help. It would be better to just do it and get a feel for it by trial and error.

But I can't imagine people are pouring water in their pouches and shaking+drinking it like that. I could be wrong here. I think the real solution would be for Jake to produce a ready to drink instead.

I actually agree with you there, "eye-balling" it is the the simplest and cheapest solution!

I terms of a pre-mixed option, the only advantage I can see with that is if you would be able to bye it on the go at some kiosk, shop or food-stand if you need something to eat. Like bying a sandwich or something. Otherwise, for Jake to ship all that extra water-weight around to the end-user seems watefullm to me, and to counter one of the eco-friendly aspirations of the Jake concept. IMO
