First of all, my compliments for making the packaging 100% recyclable. However, i find that it is now more difficult to tear it open compared to before. Will you still improve on this matter? Not just for user experience and convenience sake but also for not spilling any powder during the process.

What do you recommend for opening this new packaging? Use a lot of force or little force? Or forget about opening it by hand and grab the scissors right away?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and replies.

Hi @bifferman,

Thank you very much for your compliment, we are also very happy that our packaging is now 100% recyclable.
It is now indeed a bit more difficult to open the pouches because the material is single-sided.
We will certainly see if anything can be changed about this, but the majority still get our pouches open easily.

I would advise you to put a little more pressure at the beginning and then carefully open the packaging further so that you do not spill any powder in the process.

I hope this will help you!
Thank you very much for your feedback, it is very much appreciated!

indeed...
but on the other hand, now you already see from the outside where the powder
is & it doesn't sticks around the bag where it's just ripped - at least on my side.

now i have it to rip of from the left & the right side, instead of only one pass.

poor me. :scream:

I received a new batch of Jake yesterday and I'm very happy to know that the packaging of the shakes is now recyclable! :recycle: Before, I always felt a bit guilty throwing away the pouches in the undifferentiated trash.

I congratulate Jake for the constant innovation and for listening to customer feedback. :raised_hands:

2 months later

so, after more than a month with these new bags to rip of, i need to add something.

it's kinda weird that some of the bags are possible to rip of very easily, some need a lil bit more
patience & some of them definitely need a cutter.

i haven't figured out so far if it's always the same flavour or version - or it's totally various.

Yeah i have the exact same experience so i decided to give up and simply just use scissors by default. I always prepare my meals in the kitchen so it's not a big inconvenience, but it is an extra step (+cleaning the scissors) which should be unneccesary. I still hope Jake will solve this issue some day.
