Hi all,
You might have noticed, over the last six months some things have been going on behind the scenes of Jake. We realize this may have caused some confusion. We value all of the Jake supporters and we want to be a transparent company. Therefore, we want to take this moment to provide you with some updates, insights and product planning.
To start with a very sad message. Half a year ago, Casper Hoving, one of the three founders of Jake has passed away in his sleep. A huge loss, both personally and professionally. Since we are a very close team, this has had its impact, as you can imagine.
Due to issues with our suppliers the supply of our vanilla shakes did not go smoothly. First, we switched to a Dutch supplier. Then we experienced an issue with the pouches for the vanilla shakes.
But then the good news!
At Jake, we always stay positive and stay focused on the future. We have some pretty exciting things coming up, which we are absolutely looking forward to.
The first step is that we’re updating our products and we’re doing this together with you. We have compiled a Jake testpanel, consisting of loyal Jake supporters. If you would be interested in taking part of the Jake testpanel, please shoot us an email, we’re open to more members. Together with you we will get to the best possible products. Vanilla is now back on track, but you can also expect something coffee flavoured 
and the relaunch of the banana bar! We'll keep you posted and ask your input and feedback on a regular basis.
Till the end of the year we will work hard to create a solid product portfolio, with improved shakes and bars and in the second half of the year our Ready-to-drink.
