I've tried a bunch of different food bars. The first Jake vitamin bar in banana and cinnamon flavour was way too bananery for my liking. It was okay, but the banana smell was overpowering. Even people nearby commente'sd on it.
But the Forest Fruit bar tastes far better. I can eat them without feeling a little sickly and on banana overload. I've ordered 80 of them, and am very happy with my purchase.
They taste substantially better than their competitor from Huel, but with a big downside that they have way too much sugar in them. The new Forest Fruit Vitamin bar contains 17% sugar by mass! That's 2% more than the banana version and not much better than some really yummy Muesli bars. If I could make one change, it would be to plummet the sugar content. This would result in it not tasting as good, but I'm willing to forgo a little taste in return for not essentially eating a dessert for lunch. Even just a drop to 10% would put it on a better nutritional footing than it's direct competitors.
