Feedback about feedback

I've heard you like feedback, so how about some feedback about feedback (sorry had to). I think it's great that you've opened this place. It's a great way to build community and to learn from your customers. However, in my personal experience, feedback is best collected using forms.

There are many options: polls, surveys, questionnaires, etc. You want to send it either to a (randomly) selected group and give a specific timeframe. Why? First of all, because numbers talk. Second, because it takes away (some) answering bias. People that are really happy or really unhappy about something want to give their opinions, the big middle area which tends to have most people, is relatively quiet.

Also, I'm pretty curious to see some graphs regarding Jake (I really like graphs).

You should check out this survey by KetoSoy (a US-based company in the same market) amongst the Soylent crowd (and maybe some other crowds added to that as well). The same graphs probably apply for Jake here. I believe Jake also gets mentioned in the survey.

I agree @Brice, it's one of the reasons why we've have opened Talk. The forum has a couple of handy tools to do polls and such. I must note that however stats and graphs are incredibly useful, nothing beats reading the actual stories behind them.
