Delivery to Switzerland | very slow

i placed my first order in July 10, 2016 & since then i nearly have a non-stop monthly subscription & have a JAKE everyday @ work for lunch.

the JAKE shakes had changes, mostly to a better way - but the shipping to Switzerland is like a rollercoaster.

in the beginning with DHL - bad /slow, then with DHL & handover to Swiss Post - way better, UPS - flash, now again DHL - bad / slow.
DHL only is the worst option regarding the time of delivery, at least to Switzerland.

is there really no option at least going back to DHL & handover to Swiss Post ?

• my subscription order was placed & confirmed on 04.09.2019
• 06.09.2019 info that order is shipped.
• 09.09.2019 info that shipment is handed over to DHL
• today i received a phone-message that delivery will be tomorrow.

9 days from the Netherlands to Switzerland.

in the days of UPS & DHL / Swiss Post it was delivered within 1 working week maximum (5 days).
and i do not understand why it takes so long to be shipped & handed over to DHL.

problem is that i mostly running out of JAKE before delivery, before it worked well.

anybody else has frustrating delivery times?

Thank you for your message.

I'm sorry the delivery to Switzerland take's so much time. We changed from carrier months ago and noticed the delivery time is longer than you may expect from us.

We are talking with UPS now to ship our packages with them again to speed up the delivery time. Hopefully I can bring you good news soon.

another month, another delay - 10 days since the order is placed - still not arrived.

any news regarding UPS or DHL & handover to Swiss Post ?!

today i received my order... 13 days - nearly 2 weeks or close to a half month.

and just that it's been told...
it's against DHL, not against you.

Eric I'm in the same situation, and I also don't blame Jake - the fact is that everything posted from outside Switzerland into Switzerland, I assume will take 2 weeks. It always does, even if it's posted from Germany. I have no idea why it takes so long but it just does

Whatever can be done to speed it up - great! I would really appreciate this too! But everything I order takes weeks to get here, no matter the origin.

that is not so true...
as written on the top, there are other options.

additional info - on the 2nd of June i have placed an order in an online shop from
Thailand, within - 11 days - it was in my hand... although i lost a day because of p/u @ post office.

i work as an Export Clerk @ the airport & we sooo often have problems with DHL, especially when
it comes to customs clearance.

My experience with UPS: indeed, super-speedy - ordered Monday this week; arrived within 2 days. Very cool!

...and Fr30 more expensive due to import fees

I have twice had to pay import fees (very first order earlier in the year and now this one), and every other time not. What triggers import fees?! It's not only more expensive but it can hold up delivery time, too - it doesn't come until you've paid the import fees.

i also once was forced to pay fees, but for 20ea you do not have to pay for 100%.
then i immediately wrote to clarify, problem solved - p/u without paying.

never p/u & pay. afterwards it's always a huge mess.

how about the new Vanilla flavour..?

This time I ordered 20x vanilla (still old-school flavour I believe! I get 'light' variety) and 20x banana. Very first order was 20x all 3 (then) flavours - vanilla, banana, forest fruit. Inbetween has been a mixture of 1 or 2 boxes of 20.

What do you mean p/u?! Is the import fee not supposed to be there or something? All advice welcome!

so you have done i single order of 40, no subscription - 118 EUR, right?

well, if it comes over 65 CHF - you have to pay something (7,7% - min. 5CHF), but for
sure not 30 CHF (that's ca. 25%).
that is waaay too much !

better would be you place an order for only 20 bags every 2nd week (subscription), so
you do not have to pay fees. at least until the EUR doesn't grow much much more.

with p/u i meant pick-up the shipment & pay the fees.

I ordered yesterday to Switzerland and was told that it will be delivered tomorrow, so all good on the speed.

However, my order was for 123EUR and today I got an invoice from UPS today for 28.95CHF for import duties, which is quite a lot on top!! Is this normal? Is there a way to avoid it, for instance by ordering less than a certain amount? I didn't have to pay anything when I ordered my sample box.

the sample box was below 65 CHF, that's why you didn't had to pay.

123 EUR = 134.54 | 134.54 x 7,7% = 10.40 CHF

i only buy 20 bags per shipment (monthly subscription), i never had to pay any duties.
now i would get in contact with UPS by e-mail or phone or both.

refuse paying & do not pick-up the shipment until problem solved.

I agree; thanks for the tip, Eric! Indeed I shall order only boxes of 20 from now on!

I even got a paper copy of the UPS bill for CHF 32.45 and I nearly hit the roof because I'd already paid (and been annoyed about) it already and thought they wanted even more!!!
